What are we looking for?

SentinelOne is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Verification and Validation (V&V) Engineer or Software Development Engineer in Test to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the quality and reliability of our cutting-edge security products, particularly those deployed within FedRAMP-compliant environments. You will leverage your expertise in quality assurance, software development, and automation to design, develop, and execute comprehensive test strategies.

What will you do? 

  • Champion quality within the development process, ensuring all software deployed meets internal, quality, and regulatory requirements, including FedRAMP controls.
  • Lead the development and implementation of advanced V&V test plans and strategies for complex software systems, with a focus on AI-driven functionalities.
  • Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test frameworks and scripts using Playwright.
  • Integrate and manage test automation pipelines using Jenkins, ensuring seamless execution and reporting.
  • Troubleshoot and debug failures and document, prioritize, and track defects, working with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
  • Analyze test results and provide detailed reports, contributing to go/no-go decisions for software releases.

What skills and knowledge should you bring?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Several years of experience in Verification and Validation (V&V) or Software Development Engineering in Test (SDET) roles.
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing test strategies for complex software systems, with a strong emphasis on Quality assurance.
  • Extensive experience with continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines (e.g. Jenkins).
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (K8s) and/or Docker for containerization and orchestration of test environments.
  • Strong understanding of secure software development life cycle (SSDLC) processes and best practices.
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance frameworks such as FedRAMP.
  • Experience with test management tools (e.g., Jira, Xray) and defect tracking systems.

This U.S. role has a base pay range that will vary based on the location of the candidate. For some locations, a different pay range may apply.  If so, this range will be provided to you during the recruiting process. You can also reach out to the recruiter with any questions.

Base Salary Range
$104,000$143,000 USD
