About the role

We are looking for a forward-thinking GTM Engineer to help build and scale a modern, data-driven prospecting engine. You'll play a pivotal role in shaping our go-to-market infrastructure, developing and maintaining systems that empower our Sales teams to work smarter and faster. This role blends data engineering, automation, and process optimization to accelerate revenue growth.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain a centralized, scalable account database that is continuously enriched and optimized for quality and accuracy
  • Architect and maintain robust data pipelines to ensure seamless, bi-directional synchronization between the account database and key systems like Salesforce, preserving data integrity and usability across teams
  • Manage the flow of data between operational systems and a centralized warehouse or database, ensuring clean, timely, and accessible data for analysis and automation
  • Design and implement cost-effective strategies for acquiring and enriching account data from external sources, including the development of custom scrapers when appropriate
  • Analyze historical account data to uncover correlations with positive outcomes, collaborate with business stakeholders to define prioritization logic, and implement scoring algorithms to guide our outbound strategy and focus.
  • Develop automations that amplify the productivity and effectiveness of our sales reps
  • Collaborate closely with RevOps, Sales Leadership, and other GTM stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in a technical role focused on data pipelines, automation, and sales/marketing systems
  • Proven experience with Salesforce integrations and maintaining data synchronisation across systems
  • Strong proficiency in Python for scripting and automation, including experience with data manipulation and web scraping frameworks libraries
  • Proficiency in SQL for complex querying, data manipulation, and schema design, with experience across various relational databases
  • Experience working with databases or data warehouses (e.g BigQuery, Snowflake) in the context of ETL workflows
  • Experience building and maintaining custom scrapers or working with third-party data enrichment APIs (e.g., ZoomInfo)
  • Ability to independently evaluate technical solutions and make informed trade-off decisions
  • Excellent communication skills and a proven ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with account scoring methodologies and experience implementing data-driven models
  • Experience with automation platforms such as n8n and Zapier or building and managing integrations and automated workflows
  • Experience building BDR/SDR prospecting tools or internal sales enablement platforms
  • Experience with tools such as Salesloft, Gong, Lusha
  • Understanding of AI concepts, including agentic workflows, prompt optimization, and model selection
  • Background in RevOps, SalesOps, or GTM-focused engineering teams

Company Benefits

  • 30 days holiday paid leave
  • One week exchange policy to another Payhawk office (London, Berlin, Barcelona, Paris, Amsterdam)
  • Flexible working hours and opportunity to work from home
  • Regular team-wide events
  • Additional medical care
  • MultiSport card fully funded by us
  • Company office massages
  • Personal assistant service
  • Opportunity to use the Payhawk product
