The Part-Time Student Program is primarily designed to augment the Company’s regular full-time staff and is for students who work in parallel to their school schedule YEAR-ROUND.

Your Responsibilities

 

As a Part-Time Student-Technology (IT) Auditor for John Deere Internal Audit, you will...

 

  • Execute technology audit engagements throughout the global Enterprise. In addition, you will:
  • Work within an agile methodology for completing audit deliverables and tasks as part of a high performing team.
  • Gather and analyze evidence to support conclusions regarding internal controls over financial reporting and general IT controls over related information systems and
    infrastructure, and look beyond symptoms for the root cause.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and innovation within Internal Audit by identifying gaps and providing recommendations related to the audit process.

 

This position is not available to students on immigration visas. 

What Skills You Need

 

  • Ideally you will be pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Math, Data Science, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a combination thereof which may include other degrees such as Accounting/Finance; others may apply.
  • Hands-on experience or academic coursework covering AWS or Azure cloud engineering and configuration, software engineering/coding, GitHub proficiency, application development, database or API administration.
  • Must be registered as a full-time student at a U.S. accredited college/university.
  • Graduation date of December 2026 or later.
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
  • Available to work during the academic year 16-20 hours/weekly.
  • Available to work during the summer semester 35-40 hours/weekly
