Position Overview:
We’re seeking a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our growing Experiential Technology Group at Questex. In this role, you’ll play a pivotal part in driving new business development and lead generation--connecting with inbound and outbound leads, scheduling qualified meetings for our sales team, and helping expand our reach in target verticals such as Telecom, LDI (Lighting Design + Technology), Sensors, and Streaming Media.

This position is fully remote (U.S.-based only).

As a Sales Development Representative you’ll support Questex’s success by:

  • Drive outbound prospecting and follow up on inbound leads to generate meetings for the sales team

  • Build rapport with potential clients via phone, email, and LinkedIn

  • Partner closely with the Sales Director and Account Executives to prioritize lead outreach

  • Organize and manage lead lists, outreach campaigns, and follow-ups using Salesforce and Excel

  • Collaborate with the team to develop targeted outreach campaigns around specific trade shows and industry verticals

  • Deliver polished and professional communication to senior-level prospects

  • Maintain and update Salesforce CRM records accurately

  • Provide post-campaign reporting and assist in compiling post-event reports

  • Assist with occasional on-site event participation (optional, not required--career development opportunity)

Key Qualities for Success:

  • Outgoing, proactive, and confident on phone calls and video meetings

  • Strong organizational skills; self-starter able to independently manage priorities

  • Excellent written communication; polished, typo-free emails and messaging are a must

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously

Your Experience & Education Include:

  • 1–2 years of business development, sales development, or similar experience (B2B preferred but not required)

  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 tools (Excel, SharePoint, Outlook, etc.)

  • Salesforce CRM experience strongly preferred

  • Experience with lead generation tools and digital prospecting a plus

Compensation:
Target base salary range: $50,000 to $55,000 + Revenue Incentive Plan (RIP) based on lead generation and performance

The expected salary for this position ranges from $50,000 to $55,000 and will be eligible to receive a bonus or commissions. Salary offers are based on a broad scope of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained.
