Join as a crucial member of an Innovative Art Team in a fast-growing American start-up (Permanent WFH)

Fresh Prints is a New York-based custom apparel startup. We find incredible students and give them training and support to build the business at their schools.

Here’s more about the role:

The Design Lead will oversee a team of talented artists in creating trendy, high-quality custom apparel designs. This role requires strong leadership, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to drive the team toward daily and long-term goals. The Design Lead will also collaborate with other leaders and contribute to department-wide initiatives, while supporting a US-based clientele.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a group of artists to deliver high-quality, on-trend custom apparel designs.
  • Monitor artist performance, ensuring targets and quality standards are consistently met on a daily basis.
  • Provide regular feedback, coaching, and guidance to help artists grow and excel in their roles.
  • Conduct weekly check-ins with direct reports to track progress, address challenges, and support development.
  • Understand and analyze data on a regular basis to drive performance metrics. 
  • Collaborate with other Team Leads and managers to drive department projects and achieve shared objectives.
  • Work closely with US-based clients, ensuring their vision and requirements are met with every project.

Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of professional experience in graphic design, with a strong portfolio of relevant work.
  • At least 2 years of experience managing or leading a creative team of 5 or more individual contributors.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator.
  • Forward-thinking and adaptable, able to thrive in a fast-changing digital environment.
  • Experience with AI tools or a strong willingness to learn and integrate new technologies into workflow.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Job Location: Work From Home / Remote

Working Hours: 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM EST (9:00 PM - 7:00 AM Philippine Time), Monday to Friday

CTC: Between $900 to $1300 base monthly salary
