Our Accounting team plays a crucial role in delivering accurate financial data for both Group Reporting and local accounting needs. Working closely with our payroll colleagues, they ensure operations are fully understood and correctly reflected in the financials.
 

As a Senior Accountant, you’ll help maintain the financial health and discipline of our entities. You’ll manage records, prepare statements, ensure compliance, and support key financial decisions. This role also involves overseeing accounts payable and receivable, reviewing journal entries, and assisting with audits and taxes.

How you will make a difference: 

• Deliver top-quality monthly financial reports, digging deep into P&L and balance sheet positions to keep us financially sharp.
• Run weekly bank reconciliations, analyse cash positions, and provide clear, actionable insights.
• Keep a close eye on cashflows, proactively spotting and raising any red flags.
• Team up with Accounts Receivable to drive invoicing and quickly identify outstanding debts.
• Own intercompany reconciliations to ensure our global financials stay perfectly aligned.
• Take charge of market-related AP, uncover liabilities, and keep everything under tight control.
• Process month-end journal entries with precision and timeliness.
• Safeguard robust financial controls and ensure we’re always 100% compliant.
• Identify potential business risks early, helping us stay ahead of the curve.
• Support local accounting, tax, and audit partners with thorough documentation and clear explanations whenever needed.
• Build and deliver a variety of reports that empower smarter business decisions.
• Continually review and refine processes, procedures, and policies to drive improvements.

What will make you stand out: 

• Strong foundation in accounting principles and financial reporting, with solid experience in a senior accounting or similar role.
• Experience or exposure to working within a dynamic multinational business environment.
• Expertise in preparing and reviewing financial statements, P&L, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• A deep understanding of operational processes that links finance to the heart of the business.
• Sharp data analysis skills that turn numbers into actionable insights.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal English.
• Advanced Excel skills to streamline tasks and unlock deeper financial insights.
• A history of designing and implementing process improvements - finance project experience is a major plus!
