GAI Consultants is seeking an Assistant Environmental Specialist 3 with experience in performing Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) and hazardous waste due diligence investigations as well as conducting field compliance monitoring to be based out of our Canton, OH /Jackson, MI office, within our Power & Energy Business Unit. This position is remote and will require technical analysis and writing as well as some travel to various project sites regional to the Upper Midwestern and Mid-Atlantic Regions. Applicants should enjoy working in a challenging, fast-paced, and team-oriented environment. This position will afford an excellent opportunity for the individual to expand their experience and knowledge base in federal and state environmental regulations and methodologies primarily in Ohio, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Maryland, Michigan, and Indiana.
The successful candidate will serve as a field lead to perform, with minimal supervision, various assignments including, but not limited to those listed below.
