First (Days)Overview:
The Senior Business Analyst is responsible for the implementation, analysis, and support of quality initiatives within assigned areas of the health plan. This role serves as a liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams to define requirements, scope projects, conduct testing, and ensure the successful implementation of business solutions. The analyst provides subject matter expertise in operational areas such as claims processing, member enrollment, system administration, and expansion initiatives.
Strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements are essential. Experience in operations, IT, or reporting is required, and SQL proficiency is a must. Familiarity with Clarity, ID cards, and related health plan systems is highly desirable.
Bachelor’s Degree (Preferred)

Bachelor’s degree + 2 years of relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of degree
No specific certification or licensure requirements
Strong proficiency in SQL for data analysis and reporting
Experience working with health plan systems, including Clarity and ID card processes
Prior experience in one or more of the following areas: operations, IT, or reporting
Demonstrated ability to gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
Experience coordinating with internal teams and external vendors to support business operations and drive process improvements
