Job Title: Epic PB Resolute Analyst (Professional Billing)
Position Type: Contract (3 Months)
Hourly Rate: $90.00
Location: Remote (Preferred: California-based, ideally in the San Francisco Bay Area)

We are seeking an experienced Epic PB Resolute Analyst to support the implementation and optimization of Epic’s Professional Billing (PB) application. This role will lead or participate in all phases of the Epic PB lifecycle—from requirements gathering and system configuration to testing, training, and go-live support. This is a fully remote position, with a preference for candidates located in California.
Lead or support all phases of the Epic PB implementation: discovery, design, build, validation, testing, and deployment.
Configure and customize Epic PB application based on organizational requirements and best practices.
Collaborate cross-functionally with clinical, revenue cycle, and IT teams to ensure aligned solutions.
Utilize Epic tools such as Sherlock, Orion, and Nova for analysis, documentation, and troubleshooting.
Collect, analyze, and document business operations and workflows.
Evaluate, recommend, and implement operational improvements and automation opportunities.
Manage Epic security infrastructure and coordinate with security workgroups.
Provide frontline user support and troubleshooting for Epic PB-related issues and interfaces.
Facilitate system and end-user testing, including writing and maintaining test scripts.
Provide support during go-lives, system upgrades, and disaster recovery testing.
Participate in vendor coordination and resolution of production issues.
Lead or support the development of training programs and materials.
Monitor and support interface functionality for optimal end-user experience.
Ensure compliance with change management and quality assurance processes.
Required:
Current Epic Certification in Resolute Professional Billing (PB)
Minimum 3 years experience in Epic PB implementation, optimization, or support
Strong understanding of healthcare revenue cycle operations, including charge capture, claims processing, and reimbursement
Proficiency in system configuration, customization, and integration
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Preferred:
Epic Certification in PB Claims or Charge Router
Prior experience with Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs)
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, or a related field
Experience with Office 365, ServiceNow, and similar support platforms
