About the Role

We’re looking for a colleague to join our Accounting & Tax team who will take ownership of day-to-day bookkeeping and support key financial processes and projects.

Your Responsibilities:

You are responsible for ensuring accurate and compliant bookkeeping in daily operations.
You independently handle the classification and posting of ongoing business transactions in accounts receivable, accounts payable, and asset accounting, including regular account maintenance, reconciliation, and clarification.
You also support the processing of electronic payments and bank postings and prepare VAT returns.
You support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB (UGB).
You continuously improve processes in your area of responsibility and contribute to the automation and digitalization of our company.
You prepare special analyses and statistics and act as a point of contact for auditors and banks.
You are an important part of group-wide projects.

Who You Are:

Successfully completed commercial training or a comparable qualification
Ideally, completed training as a certified accountant or tax clerk
At least 3 years of professional experience in financial accounting
Several years of experience in financial accounting and financial reporting
Strong numerical understanding and quick comprehension
High level of reliability, motivation, and personal responsibility
Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel
Good experience with SAP (S4 Hana)
High attention to detail and conscientiousness
Independent, structured, and results-oriented working style
Fluent in German, both written and spoken
Good English skills
