Job description

The expected salary range for this position is $78,220.00 - $91,894.40. Employees in specific high cost of labor locations in the United States (such as San Francisco, CA and Seattle, WA) may qualify for a geographic differential. The Supporter Care Business Analyst II plays a key role in supporting the Supporter Care Leadership Team (SCLT) by analyzing department operations, synthesizing data, defining business needs, and proposing solutions that enhance service delivery and supporter experience. This role focuses on evaluating processes, identifying gaps and opportunities, translating stakeholder requirements, and supporting the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives within the Supporter Care function. 

The analyst partners closely with leaders to inform decision-making through KPIs, SLA reporting, and cross-functional insights. This position also supports strategic planning through analytical frameworks and business case development, enabling data-driven decisions and improved operational outcomes.

What will you do?

  • Act as an advocate to raise the awareness of the needs of children. Understands Christ’s mandate to protect children. Commit to and prioritize child protection considerations in all decision-making, tasks and activities across the ministry. Abide by all behavioral expectations in Compassion’s Statement of Commitment to Child Protection and Code of Conduct. Report any concerns of abuse, neglect or exploitation of children through Compassion’s internal reporting process and appropriately support responses to incidents if they occur.

  • Uphold and engage in Compassion’s core Cultural Behaviors.

  • Assess processes or initiatives by organizing business needs, reviewing, considering, and/or defining Supporter Care's policies and approaches, standardizing work flows, policies, and procedures, interpreting business rules and requirements, and improving the quality of the services being delivered.

  • Review business cases, sorting requirements from SCLT studying organization issues, translating and simplifying requirements, managing communications, and producing formal documentation.

  • Leverage experience and training to discover data, monitor analytics, contribute to successful communications and quality trends, and prepare education materials regarding areas of opportunity for improvement.

  • Develop, update, and report KPIs and SLAs across Supporter Care groups on an interactive dashboard and monthly executive summary.

  • Build business objectives required for formulating analysis plans and designing questionnaires, tests, and plans, to mine data from available internal and external sources, to perform an actionable analysis and give cogent recommendations.

  • Identify and analyze simple Supporter Care process problems, defining the scope of activities required to address the issues and streamlining where appropriate to increase productivity and efficiency.

  • Plan, monitor and coordinate his or her own projects from initiation through completion.This includes developing assignments, timetables and responsibilities for team members for the duration of the project.

What do you bring?

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Three years’ experience in business analysis.

  • Proficiency in work management software and methods (e.g. Smartsheet, Tableau, PowerPoint and Miro)

  • Ability to synthesize multiple data inputs performing statistical analysis  

  • Knowledge of digital platforms, social media monitoring, and strategic planning

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills as well as presentation creation skills.

  • Ability to analyze performance data and provide actionable insights

Travel – Minimal travel required for this position; however, there may be some opportunity to travel to a National Office. To travel internationally, staff must follow vaccination requirements of destination countries which may require uploading health records for entry.
