Position Overview

RecruitGo is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support a U.S.-based law firm in preparing and organizing trust and probate documents. This remote role is ideal for someone experienced in administrative tasks within legal or office settings and is comfortable working independently while following U.S. Pacific Time hours.

Responsibilities: 

  • Assist in drafting and preparing trust administration and probate documents.
  • Organize and maintain digital files according to established naming conventions.
  • Review and check probate notes for accuracy and completeness.
  • Communicate with clients to follow up on missing documents or information.
  • Support various administrative tasks as assigned.
 
Requirements:
  • Laptop and stable, reliable internet connection.
  • Strong English communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately
  • Previous experience in a law firm or office environment
  • Fast learner with a proactive mindset
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable using productivity tools
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, Teams, etc.)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
  • High level of integrity, accountability, and independence
  • Willing to work during U.S. business hours (Pacific Standard Time)
 
Nice-to-Haves:
  • Experience using MyCase (legal practice management software)
  • Familiarity with Adobe Acrobat for document editing and management
