Job description

QISG is a certified renewable EPC firm with a mission to link end users to capital investors through tailored electrification assets. We design, build, and fund full-suite strategic solutions that cut carbon emissions, increase sustainability, and elevate corporate responsibility.

We’re seeking mid- to senior-level Category Managers to lead sourcing strategies for critical infrastructure commodities used in utility-scale energy and decarbonization projects.
These materials include:

  • Pole line hardware for transmission & distribution (T&D)
  • MRO, balance-of-plant, and minor electrical packages
  • Underground electrical and conduit systems
  • Substation components and assemblies
  • Steel structures, wire & cable, transformers, and more

EPC experience is not required, though it’s a plus!

High Voltage experience is not required, but highly valued!

This is an individual contributor role—ideal for experienced professionals who want to shape strategy and drive results without managing a team.

As a Category Manager at QISG, you will:

  • Own and execute category strategies aligned with project demand, technical requirements, and sustainability goals
  • Lead negotiations and manage supplier relationships across key commodities
  • Collaborate with engineering, construction, and project teams to ensure materials are delivered on time and within budget
  • Forecast demand, optimize inventory, and support S&OP alignment
  • Onboard and qualify suppliers while monitoring risk and driving innovation
  • Leverage market intelligence and spend analysis to reduce cost and increase value

What You Bring:

  • 7+ years of sourcing, procurement, or category management experience (preferably in energy, EPC, utilities, or industrial infrastructure)
  • Deep knowledge of critical infrastructure components
  • Proven success in supplier negotiations and performance management
  • Advanced Excel and data analysis capabilities
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative, proactive mindset
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field (APICS, CSPM, or equivalent certifications preferred)

Why Join QISG?
At QISG, we believe the supply chain is the engine behind the clean energy future. You’ll work alongside forward-thinking teams to decarbonize power systems and build infrastructure that matters.

Apply now to lead sourcing strategy for the materials that power progress.
