RxBenefits is hiring!  We are adding resources to the Client Onboarding team.  This role will support the Project Lead (PL) leadership team by helping to drive consistency in the customer experience by leading the new hire onboarding process, ensuring adherence to established processes, ongoing education and assist in data-driven planning.  This person will also effectively lead and engage in process improvement initiatives as well as create and maintain process and procedure documentation. research and resolve non-escalated acute issues.  Through effective training and guidance of PL team members, the Mentor will be responsible for developing PLs of all levels to meet organization and department goals. This role will report to the Manager, Client Onboarding.
 

Job responsibilities include:

  • Own the development and execution of activities to train PL team members, ensuring team members obtain the appropriate training and support to best apply the required knowledge required of their role to provide customers with an exceptional onboarding experience.
  • Drive all new hire onboarding and all internal promotional training with the assistance of the Learning & Development team.
  • Promote a consultative and customer-centric approach to the PDC role in all engagement opportunities with internal and external partners.
  • Engage in onboarding projects alongside trainees throughout the duration of the project, including, but not limited to, meetings, emails, preparation activities and system activities.
  • Plan training and development activities as assigned by leaders.
  • Serve as a project management subject matter expert for all Pharmacy Benefits Managers.
  • Seek opportunities to stay apprised of organization and department process changes, industry trends and regulations.
  • Perform quality assessment for PLs and provide appropriate feedback to their Team Lead. 
  • Support PL development opportunities – identified through analysis of customer escalation trends, PBM escalations, AdaptiveWork data, C3 Case data, and gaps in knowledge, skill, or application thereof.
  • Identify and document any knowledge gaps by the individual PL, develop and carryout training needed to close the gap.  
  • Own maintenance of existing documentation and tools, and develop new documentation as needed for use by the PL team, including but not limited to procedural documentation, job aids and system tools, such as AdaptiveWork, Salesforce, etc. 
  • Act as a change agent by supporting process improvement initiatives leading initiatives, including managing project timelines, resources, and deliverables, coordinate team meetings, document progress, and ensure that the project stays on track. Liaise between different team members and stakeholders, addressing any challenges or issues that may arise.
  • Function as a project management subject matter expert and be available to answer one-off questions from PL team members and other cross-functional teams. 
  • Support new client and client transition activity during peak season, usually from October – January but can vary based on business need.
  • Represent the Client Onboarding team as an attendee of finalist meetings in partnership with Business Development partners either virtual or on-site.
  • Engage in internal calls with PLs to support coaching and development opportunities. 
  • Support Client Command Center process, including attending meetings, to stay informed on trends, issues, performance, and opportunities that impact individual and team success, using information gathered to identify training opportunities or gaps in resources.  
  • Ensure that team & individual team members achieve their outlined Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and other key metrics and goals.
  • Partner with team members in similar roles across the organization to further refine best practices, creatively solution for challenges and support one another.

 

Required Skills/Experience Include:

  • Bachelor's Degree Education or equivalent work experience.
  • 1+ year of experience guiding and developing others through mentorship, coaching, or structured training to support role effectiveness and long-term growth.
  • 2-4 years of benefit implementation or pharmacy benefit experience.
  • Process-minded individual who understands the importance of following consistent process to maximize efficiency & quality.
  • Exceptional partner in collaboration with others.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex concepts into understandable and actionable information.
  • Formal coaching or training experience a plus.
  • Exceptional written & verbal communication skills with the demonstrated ability to modify approach to meet the needs of the audience and ensure comprehension.
  • Expert knowledge of MS Office, with an emphasis on PowerPoint and Word to develop and maintain training and procedural documentation. 
  • Excellent interpersonal and human relations skills; able to work with people of varied technical backgrounds and knowledge levels.
  • Personable, likeable, approachable individual who is motivated by helping others succeed.
  • Knowledge of performance evaluation procedures.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • A passion for learning and willingness to take on new challenges, inspiring the same in others.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • Demonstrated expertise of  Pharmacy Benefits Managers with which RxBenefits consort.


Based on relevant market data and other factors, the anticipated hiring range for this role is $62,400-$76,000 annually. Final compensation rates will be determined based on various factors, including but not limited to experience, skills, knowledge, and internal equity considerations. This role is also short-term incentive eligible. Incentive amounts will vary by individual and business goals.
