Your role:
If you’re an experienced mobile Sr. Quality Assurance Analyst looking for a 100% remote team, you’ve come to the right place!
Cars.com helps tens of millions of people like you and me find their perfect car match each year. We are the #1 automotive marketplace brand, with our audience spanning our desktop & mobile responsive website, our 4.7 star rated Android app, and our 4.8 star rated iOS app.
We’re looking for a Sr. Quality Assurance Analyst with 5+ years of experience, at least 3 of those years supporting mobile apps, to work closely with our software engineers, product managers, and design partners to take projects from idea to done across our iOS & Android apps as well as our website. This means collaborating with stakeholders to understand the business objectives of a project, working to iterate upon proposed solutions to ensure testability and maintainability, and devising test plans for project delivery as well as long-term regression testing across our apps and website.
Your sphere of influence doesn’t stop there. Our software engineers will look up to you to help set best practices around testability and advise them on how to best select and set up automated tests so that software quality can be ensured across our software development lifecycle. Your goal is not only to empower our team to ship high quality experiences for our iOS & Android app users as well as our web users, but also to detect defects quickly and efficiently, minimizing the cost of resolution as well as customer impact.

JavaScript/TypeScript, Swift, SwiftUI, Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, GraphQL, Elixir, CircleCI, GitHub, Playwright, Espresso, XCUITest, Jira, Tricentis Test Case Management
You bring:
5+ years of QA experience, including writing test suites to support new projects
3+ years of mobile app QA experience
Playwright, XCUITest, and/or Espresso automated test experience is a huge plus
Experience in a 100% remote environment
Excitement in helping us take our iOS & Android apps and website to the next level, not only supporting manual testing, but also branching into automated testing
