Job description

The Opportunity

Under the leadership of the HSN2 Senior Manager, the Producing Editor is responsible for HSN2 production tasks and content creation through multiple platforms. You will lead the production of HSN2 and work with Programming, Planning, Content and Creative teams in the execution of their production. You are also responsible for coordinating additional production-based elements (i.e.: Opens, Wipes, Promo Re-tags) that impact on-air presentations.

Your Impact

HSN2 Editing/Production:

  • Lead the editing and production of new assets for shows created by planning. This includes reviewing shows and assigning new assets to yourself for future shows.
  • Create show support for HSN2 Broadcast. This includes creating new Show Opens for HSN2 through After Effects templates and retagging HSN Promos to support HSN events and static shows.
  • Work with Planning and Programming to maintain full hour and item level changes due to performance and sell-outs.
  • Participate in grid reviews to identify any timeline and system challenges.
  • Support omnichannel production by creating and delivering content to different platforms based on requests.
  • Manage requests for off-air recordings that support all channels.
  • Manage the timing of shows within the Show Planning Tool with Planning.

HSN2/HSN Promotional Show Support:

  • Identify necessary show HSN2 support refresh needs to stay on brand with HSN.
  • Support Air Table requests for HSN2 and HSN for new promotional assets.
  • Partner with QVC Content and Creative in assisting with delivery and retagging of promos.
  • Assist in asset delivery through Media Player for HSN and HSN2.

What You Bring

  • You have 2+ years of multimedia editing experience.
  • You have a bachelor's degree in (Film and Video Design, Communications, or another relevant field) along with knowledge of QVC and HSN systems and playout tools.
  • Proficiency in Air Table, Adobe Creative Suite- Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator.
  • Expert in HD Codecs. ·
  • Experience with on-air and digital as potential content differentiators.
  • Use independent judgment to respond to real-time requests and latest needs of lHSN2; operate with the appropriate level of urgency.
  • While this role is fully remote it requires flexible hours to support the broadcast.

Remote work is not permitted in NYC at this time. This position is fully remote but only in certain states where HSN has nexus.
