Job description

Lead Wind power segment business development specifically with focus to offshore wind to ensure strong Hempel presence and to ensure Hempel is positioned as a trusted partner, by establishing customer road maps and key stakeholders within wind offshore value chain.

Establish and maintain strong professional relationships with key decision makers and influence within relevant accounts to ensure business continuity and sustainability.

  • Developing account development strategy for power segment aimed at increasing sales volumes in the region capitalizing on the brand value for achieving overall consistent & stable growth in revenue.

  • Developing new business opportunities and ensure Hempel is well specified in the segment and with the targeted accounts while working closely with Sales Team.

  • Primary Hempel point of contact for the selected key accounts, initiating and maintaining relations at all management levels and locations,

  • Accountable for performing in-depth market research and competition analysis in power segment.

  • Prepare reports and presentations as required to both internal and external stakeholders.

  • Support marketing strategies & promotional events & activities for increased brand awareness and demand.

  • Educating, creating awareness and communicating –current scenarios, opportunities and way forward for power segment to relevant internal stakeholders regularly

  • Sharing of Projects & Technical Learning within the team.

  • Conducting weekly, monthly & quarterly reviews to support the sales team achieving its sales targets.

What are we looking for?  

  • Bachelors in engineering or business

  • Post Graduation in Engineer & Management – Preferred not mandatory

  • Exposure to wind offshore segment – preferred and ideal.

  • At least 10 years of overall experience & minimum of 5 years in wind offshore segment exposure.

  • English language proficiency (read/write/speak) is a must

  • Japanese language proficiency is an added advantage
