The HRIS Administrator plays a critical role in maintaining and optimizing job-related data within the Human Resources Information System (HRIS). This position is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of job titles, descriptions, classifications, and compensation data. The HRIS Administrator supports reporting and analysis efforts by generating job-related metrics and insights that inform strategic HR decisions. In collaboration with departmental stakeholders, this role ensures job data aligns with organizational needs while identifying opportunities to streamline processes. Additional responsibilities include managing job profile updates, supporting system maintenance and upgrades, responding to candidate inquiries, and troubleshooting job data issues within the system.

Data Management: Maintaining accurate and consistent job-related information within the HRIS, including job titles, descriptions, classifications, and reporting structures.
Data Integrity: Ensuring the accuracy and reliability of job-related data within the HRIS, which is crucial for reporting, analysis, and compliance.
Reporting and Analysis: Generating reports on job-related data, such as headcount, turnover, or recruitment metrics, to support HR and management decision-making.
System Maintenance: Assisting with the configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the HRIS system as it relates to job management.
Collaboration: Working with department stakeholders to ensure job data is accurate and aligns with business needs.
Workflow Optimization: Identifying opportunities to streamline and improve job management processes within the HRIS.
Specific Tasks:
Creating and updating job profiles within the HRIS.
Ensuring job descriptions are accurate and SEO optimized.
Maintaining compensation information related to job roles.
Always handle compensation data with confidentiality and professional maturity.
Generating reports on job-related data for various stakeholders.
Troubleshooting issues related to job data within the HRIS.
Participating in system upgrades and implementations as they relate to job management.
Manage incoming candidate inquiries and respond accordingly
Qualifications
Education & Experience:
Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field (required or preferred depending on organization level).
2+ years of experience working with HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, ADP, Oracle, SAP, UKG, etc.).
Experience with job data management, compensation structures, and organizational reporting preferred.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in HRIS platforms and reporting tools.
Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data validation).
Basic understanding of HR processes, job classifications, and compensation practices.
Ability to troubleshoot system issues and assist with system configuration and upgrades.
Soft Skills & Competencies:
Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
Analytical thinking with the ability to interpret and report on complex data sets.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage multiple priorities.
