Job description

EXCHANGE ADMINISTRATOR


Deep exchange knowledge proficiency in managing mailboxes, delegation, shared mailboxes, mail flow rules, SMTP, spam protection implementation, and distribution lists. Configuring and maintaining high-availability solutions for uninterrupted email services. Several years of expertise managing email systems.

Analysis

Expertise in the use of different mail tools and Microsoft O365 tools to identify mail senders, mails lost, mail deliverables and to analyze policies of the institution and apply them accordingly

Security

Expertise in creating and modifying transport rules, security policies, Dmarc, Dkim, and Spf. Deep knowledge on Microsoft security and compliance tools especially Microsoft Defender and Agari tools. Vigilant on security threats and monitoring system health

Coding

Backup and recovery

Expertise in recovering data from Microsoft Exchange and expertise managing AvePoint Backup

AWS SES Proficiency using PowerShell or other tools for advanced administration tasks.

Collaboration

Collaborating with other IT teams to integrate Exchange services with other systems. Deep understanding of authentication mechanism with Microsoft tools and others.

Ideas/Innovation

Troubleshooting \& Monitoring

Expertise in handling complex issues related to mailbox access, email delivery.

Strategic Planning / Estimations

Strategic mindset to shape the organizations email infrastructure effectively. Developing long-term messaging and email roadmaps, including release schedules and improvement initiatives.
