Location: US-GA-Atlanta-Remote

Role Overview:

At Safe-Guard Products International, we put our clients' and employees' needs first to support the company vision to provide products and solutions to the motor vehicle industry that protect consumers from the perils of ownership. Our products complement manufacturers' warranties both during and after the factory warranty period. This position provides support to dealerships and/or their representatives. In executing the duties of the role, the underwriting/quality assurance associate will ensure the dealerships or their representatives that products or service is accurately reviewed and successfully posted, meeting all business requirements. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Contract Review: Review contracts for accuracy and completeness, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Decision Making: Make informed decisions regarding the acceptance, modification, or rejection of contract based on underwriting guidelines.
  • Collaboration: Work with agents and other internal departments to gather necessary information and ensure accurate processing of the contracts.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed records of underwriting decisions, including reasons for rejections or exceptions and prepare reports summarizing your books of business

Qualifications:  

  • College Degree preferred or equivalent work experience
  • 2+ year's experience within accounting, quality assurance, insurance or underwriting
  • Service Contract or Automotive Warranty Administrator experience is a plus  
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, able to communicate at a business level.
  • Strong work ethic, time management and organizational skills. 
  • Detail oriented, able to catch and identify discrepancies. 
  • Proactive problem solver able to provide input and think critically through solutions. 
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S or Canada
  • Must be able to successfully pass a background check
