We are actively searching for a Radiology Technologist Assistant (TA) for our weekend  7a - 7p (EST), Fri/Sat/Sun shift! 


This is a REMOTE/VIRTUAL role and is open to candidates from the following states where we already have established operations: AL, AR, AZ, FL, GA, IA, IL, IN, KS, KY, LA, MI, MO, MS, NE, OH, OK, OR, PA, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, WA, WI, WV.


Job Summary:

The Radiology Technologist Assistant (TA) is primarily responsible for assisting members of the Operations team and performing a wide variety of routine duties including clerical and technical functions. The TA assists with patient cases by obtaining sufficient information to determine whether the patient case is ready for post-processing as well as completing trained technical processes. The TA adheres to established workflow, protocols, QA guidelines, and regulatory requirements and is regularly monitored to ensure all performance standards are met. The TA exhibits a strong commitment to customer service, continuously works to streamline processes within the department, and is dedicated to positively impacting patient care.


Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Check order and images for complete information.
  • Communicate with customers with a high level of professionalism.
  • Routine clerical duties.
  • Demonstrate technical proficiency in producing high quality work.
  • Responsible for assisting the 3D radiologic technologists, providing a broad range of services.
  • Trained to utilize a wide variety of tools and software.
  • Independently complete job duties with minimal errors.
  • Interact with co-workers in a manner that promotes teamwork and positive working relationships.
  • All other duties as assigned.

  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Critical thinking skills, decisive judgement, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a high-volume department.
  • Self-motivated and directed regarding an increasing level of understanding and knowledge.

  • Able to work independently in a remote environment as well as part of a team. Metrics are utilized to determine how time is spent in a remote setting.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing situations and the ability to prioritize tasks according to objectives.
  • This position may involve working non-traditional hours including evenings and weekends and occasional holidays to ensure continuation of operations.


Requirements

Desired Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in healthcare or customer service required.
  • Microsoft Office and computer navigation skills required.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and basic anatomy preferred.


Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. 
  • Ability to maintain considerable concentration with frequent time pressures and occasional interruptions.
  • Ability to maintain visual attention for considerable lengths of time.
