Job description

As credit authorization analyst, you contribute to analysis, guidance and prevention with regard to risk management operations and activities. You analyze and authorize exceptions and verifications of financing applications for the non-retail client segment of moderate complexity, ensuring sound and prudent risk management. You act as a resource person and coach for financing packages and financial analysis for account managers and financing analysts. You propose improvements for risk management and contribute to the implementation of and compliance with credit policies in effect. Your in-depth knowledge of the business area and interpersonal skills are essential. More specifically, you will be required to:

  • Communicate any changes to financing standards and practices

  • Participate in the integration of risk management deliverables

  • Collaborate in risk quality performance management

  • Adhere to current policies, practices and standards as well as to the various laws governing the distribution of financial products and services.

What you bring to the table

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field

  • A minimum of four years of relevant experience

  • Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered

  • Knowledge of French is required

  • Intermediate knowledge of English due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or client
