The eCommerce Sales Specialist is responsible for the commercial performance, growth, and optimisation of our client’s digital sales channels — including the our client's website, online marketplaces (e.g., Amazon, eBay, Kogan), and emerging digital platforms.

This role is critical in executing our client’s digital strategy in alignment with broader retail and pricing plans. Weare seeking a self-motivated, highly autonomous professional who thrives in a hands-on capacity — someone who enjoys both shaping strategy and executing the day-to-day work needed to bring it to life.

From setting up campaigns to refining product listings and interpreting performance data, you will have ownership and accountability across all digital touchpoints. This role is suited to someone who gains satisfaction from being directly involved in the work — not just delegating it.

What You’ll Do
 
1. Digital Channel Management
  • Manage day-to-day operations of our client’s eCommerce website and marketplace accounts (e.g., Amazon, eBay, Catch, Kogan).
  • Ensure accuracy and optimisation of listings, metadata, product assets, and channel compliance.
  • Implement approved pricing and promotional strategies in line with the broader retail strategy.
2. Retail Strategy Alignment
  • Collaborate with Sales Operations, Marketing, and Account Development teams to ensure digital campaigns, pricing, and product visibility align with offline retail plans.
  • Coordinate product launches and digital merchandising in sync with brand timelines.
3. Performance Marketing
  • Directly manage and optimise paid media campaigns (Google Ads, Meta, Shopping, etc.).
  • Continuously improve key digital metrics including ROAS, CAC, AOV, and conversion rate.
  • Oversee SEO strategies and organic growth initiatives.
4. AI Tool Implementation
  • Leverage AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Jasper, Shopify Magic, SEMrush AI) for automation, content creation, and operational efficiency.
  • Explore and implement new AI-based technologies that support scalable execution.
5. Reporting & Commercial Analysis
  • Provide regular performance reports across digital channels, highlighting key revenue and profitability metrics.
  • Analyse trends and deliver actionable insights to optimise channel performance.
  • Support strategic decision-making through a clear understanding of financial levers such as margin contribution and return on spend.
6. Execution & Collaboration
  • Partner with internal teams to deliver a seamless customer experience across all touchpoints.
  • Be hands-on in content setup, product listings, campaign deployment, and channel operations.
  • Manage agency or freelancer engagement where relevant, while retaining direct control of core execution.

We’re looking for someone who:

Experience & Skills
  • 5+ years in eCommerce or digital sales management, preferably in retail or consumer electronics.
  • Proven success across Shopify, Amazon Seller Central, and online marketplace ecosystems.
  • Strong background in digital advertising, campaign optimisation, and analytics.
  • Demonstrated use of AI tools in a marketing or operations context.
  • Strong financial literacy, including understanding of revenue, gross margin, profit contribution, and unit economics.
