We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of VBC Analytics and Medical Economics to lead our analytics and medical economics initiatives within the value-based care framework. The ideal candidate will be a credentialed actuary with a robust healthcare background, possessing a deep understanding of VBC principles and methodologies. This strategic leader will drive the development and implementation of analytical models that inform decision-making and enhance our VBC strategies.

This is a 100% remote role starting at 3-4 days a week with potential to full time.

What You’ll Do:

  • Essential Functions:
    • Lead the development and execution of analytics strategies to support value-based care initiatives, including risk adjustment, cost management, and quality improvement.
    • Oversee the medical economics team, providing insights and analysis on trends, performance metrics, and financial projections related to VBC programs.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate analytics into operational practices and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
    • Design and implement actuarial models to evaluate the financial impact of VBC contracts and alternative payment models.
    • Analyze healthcare data to identify opportunities for cost savings and improved care delivery, making data-driven recommendations to stakeholders.
    • Communicate complex analytical findings to executive leadership and external partners in a clear and actionable manner.
    • Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in VBC and healthcare analytics to inform strategic decisions.

 Who You Are:

  • Required:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
    • Credentialed actuary (FSA, ASA, or equivalent) with substantial experience in healthcare analytics and medical economics.
    • Proven experience in value-based care models and a strong understanding of healthcare delivery systems.
    • Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
    • Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing and developing high-performing teams.
    • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of engaging diverse stakeholders.
    • Proficiency in analytical tools and software, including data visualization and statistical analysis tools.
  • Nice to Haves:
    • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university

 

Work authorization/security clearance requirements: 

  • Authorized or able to provide required documents to work in United States or Canada.
