This role manages and supports international experiential learning programs for the College of Natural Sciences, including overseeing initiatives like faculty-led programs and research abroad (AIF). Responsibilities include program coordination, budgeting, faculty collaboration, student support, and aligning efforts with the College’s strategic goals. To advance our core mission of fostering wellness, belonging, and success for all students.
Bachelor’s degree. Minimum of five years’ experience coordinating or administering a project. Demonstrated experience in international programming and education abroad. Applicant must be organized and capable of planning and coordinating multiple tasks and managing their time. The position will require attention to detail, effective problem-solving skills, and excellent judgment. A proactive team player with demonstrated excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with internal and external constituents. Experience coordinating events and using web-conferencing services. Adaptable to changing conditions and flexible in working with different individuals. Ability to work at a high level with minimal supervision. Professional demeanor in all activities and interactions. An equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.

Experience managing a budget. Familiarity with and/or experience in one or more of the following: higher education, STEM education, and experiential learning. Experience in advising and coordinating programs such as exchange, affiliated, faculty-led, internships, or experiential opportunities abroad. Extensive experience living, studying, or working overseas. A proven track record of initiating new programs or projects and evaluating their effectiveness in achieving desired outcomes. Knowledge of student health, safety, and security issues in study abroad programs. Proficiency in a foreign language.
$60,000-$65,000
