As the R2R Reporting Manager NAM supporting the Finance & Accounting team, you will be trusted to lead General Accounting operations, oversee accurate reporting, and support financial compliance for Canada & Puerto Rico at our Mexico City location. In this role, a typical day will include:

Leading the Canada & Puerto Rico General Accounting operations team (General Ledger, Revenue Deductions, Cost Accounting, and Fixed Assets).
Managing daily operations and supervising a team to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
Ensuring compliance with IFRS, US GAAP, internal policies, and audit readiness (SOX).
Collaborating across departments to resolve discrepancies and support strategic financial reporting.
Driving continuous improvement initiatives and promoting a high-performance culture.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; Master’s degree or CPA preferred.
10+ years of experience in accounting roles, with exposure to shared services and multinational environments.
Proficiency in SAP, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint; knowledge of Power BI and BlackLine is a plus.
Strong analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills; detail-oriented and structured communicator.
Fluent in English; Portuguese is a plus.
