Job Description:

The VP leads a portfolio of key client relationships to deliver exceptional campaign results and thought leadership, a business-oriented determination to drive digital innovation, team efficiency and agency profitability. In this role, the VP manages and leads several independent client teams and acts as the primary business owner in directing the efforts of these pods to achieve client objectives. As a member of the leadership team, this role also provides ongoing feedback to senior management on market needs, product development and opportunities and insights to “future-proof” the business and build on dentsu's reputation as a leader in the Programmatic space. This person can be remote anywhere but must work PST hours.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Contributes to dentsu operational and team strategy. Works to future proof our business by solving problems or identifying ways to grow our capabilities

  • Connects regularly with clients in conjunction with Client Center leadership to assess account health and to create strategic goals for improvement and growth

  • Responsible for adherence to client contracts/SOWs, developing joint staffing plans cross channel and profitability of book of business

  • Viewed as a consultative leader- aligning dentsu partner strategies to client priorities

  • Develops growth plans for client roster growth through innovation, relationships building, product sell-in, etc.

  • Contribute on panels, fireside chats and other public speaking opportunities to represent dentsu as a leader in the digital and programmatic space at industry events

  • Participate in organic and new business pitches on a routine basis

  • Constantly staying up to date on the latest dentsu activation, M1 or other internal tools and using your knowledge as a conduit to share with others

  • Ensure the team follows defined process for campaign management across digital and programmatic channels, including excellent hands-on-keys activation work

  • Effective team management and communication with a focus on leading, delegating and prioritizing team deliverables, fostering individual growth across team

  • Responsible for ensuring forward-thinking digital and programmatic strategy is proactively delivered to entire book of business

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of experience within the programmatic and digital industry

  • Experience across all digital media channels and ability to eloquently speak to each

  • Consistent exceptional project management

  • Collaboration mindset

  • Proficient in programmatic technology, platform, and partner solutions

    The annual salary range for this position is $136,000-$219,650. Placement within the salary range is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law.
