Currently, we are searching for a State Revolving Fund (SRF) Grant Writing & Strategy Consultant to join our team in a 100% remote capacity.  This consultant will support utilities, municipalities, and public-sector organizations in securing infrastructure funding through the Clean Water State Revolving Fund (CWSRF) and Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (DWSRF) programs. This role requires a strong understanding of federal and state funding mechanisms, regulatory compliance, and capital project strategy—particularly in the context of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA) and the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL).

Job Responsibilities:

●      Lead the development and submission of SRF funding applications, including CWSRF and DWSRF.

●      Draft grant narratives, financial analyses, technical justifications, and supporting documentation in alignment with specific state requirements.

●      Advise on program eligibility, scoring criteria, and regulatory compliance to improve funding success.

●      Conduct state-specific research on SRF rules, cycles, and application timelines.

●      Collaborate with engineering, planning, and financial teams to compile complete and accurate applications.

●      Monitor evolving federal and state guidelines, particularly those tied to IIJA and BIL initiatives.

●      Provide strategic guidance, templates, and long-term planning tools to public-sector teams managing water infrastructure needs.

●      Support client-facing presentations, stakeholder engagement, and training related to SRF strategy and execution.

Minimum Job Qualifications:

●      Minimum of 5 years of experience in grant writing, public-sector funding strategy, or infrastructure project support.

●      Demonstrated success in preparing and submitting applications for CWSRF and/or DWSRF programs.

●      Strong knowledge of EPA funding structures and relevant environmental and public health regulations.

●      Ability to translate technical content into clear, compelling funding narratives.

●      Excellent project management, organization, and communication skills.

●      Comfortable working independently or collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a consulting environment.

●      Experience working with or for municipal utilities, public works departments, or tribal governments preferred.

●      Regular and predictable attendance
