🧪 QA Lead – Mobile Gaming
Employment Type: Permanent Full-time (40 hrs/week, Remote)
📍 Location: ±3 hours from Berlin

We’re hiring a QA Lead to spearhead our quality assurance efforts and lead a skilled team focused on delivering high-quality mobile game experiences. You’ll play a key role in ensuring our games are polished, stable, and fun to play.

What You Bring:

5+ years of experience in mobile game QA, with a strong background in team leadership, process development, and continuous improvement.

Hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks, and the ability to design and implement robust automation strategies (e.g., AltUnity Tester, Unity Automated Testing Tools, or similar).

Proficiency in project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Asana, or Notion.

Familiarity with Android/iOS debugging tools and network traffic analysis tools like Charles Proxy.

Demonstrated ability to build and lead QA processes in fast-paced, development-driven environments.

Solid knowledge of performance testing and optimization for mobile platforms.

A player-focused mindset, with strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering exceptional gaming experiences.

Bonus: Experience with backend integrations and related technologies is a strong plus.

What You’ll Do:
Lead and manage the entire QA lifecycle of mobile games — from test planning and execution to reporting and bug tracking.
Collaborate closely with developers, designers, and cross-functional teams to integrate QA best practices into the development pipeline.
Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and automation scripts to ensure comprehensive coverage of game functionality.
Mentor and support a growing team of QA testers to ensure high performance and ongoing development.
Document and track bugs with clarity and accuracy, ensuring fast and effective resolution.
Continuously optimize testing processes, workflows, and reporting to boost efficiency and effectiveness.
Define and implement automation strategies to scale quality efforts and reduce manual workload.
Act as a QA advocate, aligning testing efforts with vision and industry standards.
