Job description

We’re currently looking for a Learning Technologist on a full-time, fixed term contract for 18 months. This position sits within the Technology & Delivery Team.

This position can be remote-working and ACCA offers a flexible working schedule.

The Job

Reporting to the Lead of the Technology and Delivery Team, on a day-to-day basis, you’ll be involved in the following:

  • Providing subject matter expertise on the usage of tools and technologies employed for Learning and Assessment practice
  • Researching, testing and evaluating learning technology solutions for different use-cases
  • Provide functional overviews and training as required to colleagues on the use of various educational technology applications and tools to internal stakeholders
  • Working with the LMS Technologist and other Learning Technologists as required to implement, test and evaluate different features and functionality on our LMS and other platforms, and to identify potential areas and opportunities for innovation
  • Support the integration of different platforms and technologies, through Single Sign On, Learning Technology Interoperability and APIs.

The Person

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has a curious mind and passion about Educational Technology solutions, both from a content and platform perspective
  • Enjoys problem-solving using both familiar and unfamiliar learning technologies
  • Has experience with Learning Management Systems; eLearning Authoring Tools; Content Management Systems; e-Commerce solutions; Assessment tools and translation systems
  • Is familiar with SCORM; xAPI; LTI; accessibility standards; Identity Access Management
  • Is able to communicate and explain complex learning technology solutions to both technical and non-technical colleagues.
