Role overview

We are looking for a Dev Ops engineer with experience in building and managing high-performing and scalable systems capable of handling a massive number of transactions.

Our platform is built on containerised microservices that we deploy to the cloud through a modern continuous deployment system. If you enjoy working in complex environments and like to exercise your skills in automation while experimenting with new technology then this role could be a great fit.

Main Responsibilities

You will be part of a small and high performing team taking care of our Operational environment. You will take full responsibility for the provisioning, development and monitoring of our infrastructure, therefore a solid understanding of modern computing technology is essential and knowledge of cloud environments is beneficial.

Some of the tools you will be working with include:

GitOps (ArgoCD, Pulumi, Helm, Python, Ansible)
Linux (e.g. Ubuntu, CentOS, etc.)
Kubernetes (EKS, kubespray)
Databases (Oracle, Postgres, MySQL)
Webservers (e.g. Nginx, Apache, Lighttpd, etc.)
Version Control (Git)
Shell Scripting (sh, BASH, etc.)
TCP/IP Networking (IPv4 & IPv6)

Your profile

At least 3 years of experience of Dev Ops
Experience of working with cloud platforms (in particular AWS)
Experience of on premises infrastructure is beneficial
Solid Kubernetes experience is essential
You understand the demands of a high data volume system
You can quickly pick up an understanding of the business you are working with and are able to convert that knowledge into technical solutions that fulfill client needs
Excellent written and verbal communication in English is essential
