WATER TREATMENT TECHNICIAN - MIDLANDS

Our client has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Water Treatment Technician. This role is on a full-time permanent basis servicing our clients’ various contracts in the West Midlands. Servicing areas such as Leicester, Birmingham, Oxford, Milton Keynes or Luton.

As a Water Treatment Technician you will be required to support the clients objects to maintain the efficiency, effectiveness and longevity of the commercial water systems, maintain safety water systems, and implement successful water hygiene and treatment strategies..

Water Treatment Technician – Duties:

• temperature checks;
  
• water sampling;
  
• TMV inspection and servicing;
  

·       Shower cleans and disinfections;

·       Tank inspections and cleans;

·       Chlorination works;

·       Service and replacement of water softeners and filters;

·       Ensure water hygiene and water tredatment maintenance, servicing and repair works are carried out in accordance to our clients standards and legislation;

• attend emergency call-outs during and outside or normal workings hours;
  
• wearing relevant company issued PPE and clothing; and
  
• submit clear and concise service reports and timesheets.
  

Water Treatment Technician – Requirements:

• knowledge of water treatment and water hygiene;
  
• knowledge of Legionella;
  
• knowledge of commercial plumbing;
  

·       knowledge of building services;

·       Valid driving licence;

·       Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; and

·       Self- motivated with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills;

Water Treatment Technician - Offer:

·       Hours per week are 08:00 to 17:00 negotiable, 40 hour week;

·       Salary ranging between $27k to £30k Depending on Experience

·       25 days holiday (not including bank holidays);

·       Pension scheme after 3 full months service (3% employer contribution, 5% employee);

·       Overtime available but not guaranteed;

·       Tablet and phone;

·       Company uniform;

·       Company works vehicle; and

·       employee referral scheme of £1,000.
