Job description

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Oracle Hyperion Essbase Developer with a solid foundation in relational databases (RDBMS), preferably SQL Server. The ideal candidate will have experience in migrating Hyperion applications and ensuring data integrity throughout the process. This role requires strong technical, analytical, and documentation skills. This is project is scheduled for one year which is extendible.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the technical analysis of existing Hyperion applications to plan and execute migrations.
Map Hyperion dimensions and hierarchies to SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS).
Convert Hyperion calculation scripts to equivalent SQL or MDX expressions.
Maintain and ensure data integrity throughout the migration process.
Develop and implement comprehensive migration validation procedures.
Create and maintain parallel testing environments.
Document all migration procedures, technical specifications, and system configurations.
Prepare technical and functional documentation.
Develop user training materials and conduct training sessions.
Record and track all system configuration changes.

Required Skills:

Expertise in Hyperion Financial Management (HFM)
Strong hands-on experience with:
- Hyperion Planning
- Essbase
- Financial Reporting
- Smart View
- Hyperion Financial Data Quality Management (FDM/FDMEE)
Working knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL.
Proficiency in VBScript and JavaScript.
