Reporting to the Director of Assessment of Student and Instructor Experience and the Director of Administrative Operations, the Program Manager will play a crucial role in supporting the TLC’s operational and strategic objectives. This position is integral to advancing the TLC’s mission of enhancing graduate and postdoctoral scholar engagement, faculty and instructor development, and the assessment of instructor and student experiences. The Program Manager is responsible for the comprehensive management and strategic development of UCLA’s Student Experiences of Teaching (SET) survey program. This position ensures the effective administration and delivery of SET surveys each term, routinely collaborates with campus stakeholders to strengthen communication and facilitate critical processes, performs data analysis and reporting, and supports data-informed decision-making. The role also leads efforts to ensure the survey system aligns with institutional goals, accreditation standards, university and unit-level policies and procedures, and educational development initiatives. In addition to SET-related responsibilities, the Program Manager provides programmatic and administrative support for the Senior Survey and other initiatives in the Teaching and Learning Center (TLC). This includes coordinating project timelines, supporting administrative processes, tracking deliverables, and assisting with reporting and documentation to ensure successful execution and alignment with institutional priorities. May be asked to engage in special projects.

Actual salary offers consider factors, including budget, prior experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business considerations. Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of professional experience in a higher education. (Required)
Experience with course or program evaluation tools and platforms (e.g., Explorance Blue, Qualtrics, or similar systems). (Required)
Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of descriptive statistical methods and procedures for analyzing questionnaire responses. (Required)
Demonstrated proficiency with data analysis software (e.g., SPSS, R, etc.), Microsoft Excel, data management practices, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau). (Required)
Experience with survey tools or platforms (e.g., Qualtrics, Survey Monkey, or similar systems). (Required)
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. (Required)
Experience in creating training content, such as digital materials and/or workshops. (Required)
Demonstrated ability to analyze and make recommendations and decisions using highly technical information. (Required)
Familiarity with academic affairs functions and faculty evaluation processes. (Preferred)
Experience with Interfolio, institutional research practices, or accreditation reporting. (Preferred)
Knowledge of FERPA, data privacy regulations, and ethical handling of student feedback data. (Preferred)
Ability to work on campus with the potential for a hybrid schedule with a minimum of three (3) days working on campus. (Required)
Education, Licenses, Certifications & Personal Affiliations
Master's Degree Master’s degree and/or equivalent work experience in administrative setting. (Preferred)
