This role offers you the ability to work with leaders of all levels through SVP, to deliver programming (e.g., Fireside chats and Training Sessions) that seeks to position Humana as the IT Internship program of choice. In this role, YOU are building the talent pipeline for future Humana IT leaders.

Job Description

The Talent Management Professional is committed to creating a world class experience our summer Interns and associated stakeholders. This professional will do so through developing, implementing, and evaluating Intern projects that align to IT organizational needs. This role involves varied assignments that require independent judgment and interpretation of appropriate courses of action.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management and Execution: Own design and execution of projects that support the Intern experience from ensuring equipment delivery to the Interns, Intern onboarding, conducting Executive meet and greets, social programming, and program evaluations
  • Communications: Develop and execute oral and written communications using various mediums (PPT, email, newsletters, etc.) to various stakeholder groups
  • Documentation: Strong emphasis on creating documentation to support reusability in future years
  • Training: While not directly creating training, this role will review and training for various stakeholders that support the Intern program
  • Data Management and Reporting: Leverage data and reporting to support program advancements and Executive decision making.
  • Independent Decision-Making: Exercise independent judgment to interpret organizational requirements and determine appropriate courses of action.
  • Industry Best Practices: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry leading practices and drive innovative approaches for Intern program.
  • Advising: Guide Intern groups or committees through their decision making to deliver events and other experiences

Required Qualifications

  • You must be authorized to work in the US without Humana sponsorship as Humana does not provide work visa sponsorship for this role.
  • You must be available to work East Coast hours with some overtime necessary near big events
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, organizational development, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities and/or projects
  • Ability to create and drive metrics reporting to demonstrate how learning drives outcomes for our customers leveraging tools such as Microsoft Excel or Power BI
  • 2+ years of experience with Intern or similar programs
  • A personal commitment to providing an exceptional Associate Growth & Development experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience leveraging advanced data analysis tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Google Data Studio
  • Ability to leverage AI, SharePoint, or other tools that can support program execution.
  • Master's degree in one of the following areas: Business Administration; Learning and Performance; Education; Human Resources, Organizational Design or related field.
  • Experience working in a healthcare and/or an insurance setting
  • Project Management certification (PMP or CAPM) or Associate Professional in Talent Development (APTD) or Certified Professional in Talent Development (CPTD)

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.


 

$65,000 - $88,600 per year


 

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
