About the Role:

The Quality Assurance Analyst plays a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards before they reach our customers. This position involves developing and executing test plans, identifying defects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance product quality. The analyst will be responsible for analyzing requirements and specifications to create comprehensive test cases that cover all aspects of functionality.

By implementing best practices in quality assurance, the analyst will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the organization. Ultimately, the goal is to deliver a seamless user experience and maintain customer satisfaction through rigorous testing and quality control processes.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute detailed test plans and test cases based on product requirements and specifications.

  • Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools, ensuring timely resolution and retesting.

  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand product features and provide feedback on quality.

  • Perform regression testing to ensure that new code changes do not adversely affect existing functionality.

  • Participate in quality assurance meetings and contribute to the development of best practices and testing methodologies.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in software quality assurance and testing methodologies.

  • Familiarity with automated testing tools and frameworks.

  • Attention to detail for identifying defects and ensuring that all aspects of the product are thoroughly tested.

  • Strong communication skills to facilitate collaboration with team members and stakeholders, allowing for a clear understanding of product requirements.

  • Familiarity with automated testing tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy in the testing process.

Preferred Skills and Attributes:
  • Certification in Quality Assurance (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE) is a plus.

  • Experience with Agile development methodologies.

  • Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Cypress, Python, or JavaScript.
