About the role 

  • Collaborating with claims operations and treatment providers to develop strategies for reducing the human and financial costs to Allianz through structured injury management practices
  • Establishing and maintaining provider management strategies and relationships to enable support to the business
  • Ensure timely management of all medical & like requests and approvals to APA standards  
  • Ensure high level customer service to all stakeholders involved in the medical & like processes including worker, WorkSafe, medical advisors & employers
  • Coaching and mentoring claims teams

 

About you 

  • Extensive experience in injury management relating to occupational rehabilitation, claims management and/or return to work
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline and/or industry accreditation
  • Understanding of relevant regulatory and/or legislative compliance requirements that impact the organisation
  • Coaching and mentoring experience
  • Demonstrated ability to use clinical reasoning for decision making
  • A passion for leveraging emerging technologies to stay ahead in a rapidly evolving digital landscape
