Job description

 

We are seeking a strategic, data-driven, and collaborative Regional Category Procurement Manager, IT to lead sourcing, negotiation, contracting and supplier relationship management within the US Market across a diverse and high-impact portfolio including Hardware, Software, Telecommunications, and IT Professional Services. You will be responsible for driving value creation by reducing Total Cost of Ownership, world class sourcing strategies, mitigating risk through Contract Development and Customer Orientation, and ensuring category strategies align with business and IT priorities. 

 

This is a remote role open to candidates in the LATAM region.

Job Responsibilities

 

  • Develop and execute regional category strategies for IT spend areas that support innovation, cost efficiency, and risk management aligned to the organization’s Objectives and Key Results (OKRs)
  • Lead complex sourcing projects, including RFI/RFP, vendor evaluation, total cost of ownership (TCO) modeling, and negotiation
  • Manage key suppliers to ensure performance, compliance, and continuous improvement
  • Partner with IT, finance, legal, security, and data privacy stakeholders to align procurement outcomes with business needs
  • Monitor market trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory developments to inform sourcing strategies and supplier selection
  • Maintain contracts, commercial terms, and vendor governance frameworks in compliance with corporate policies
  • Develop Strategic Sourcing Plans (SSP), document recommendations & communicate results to suppliers and stakeholders
  • Develop and implement long term strategic sourcing and pricing agreements with Regional and Local suppliers
  • Total Spend Analysis under assigned Region
Skills and Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s degree required in Business, Supply Chain, IT, or related field
  • 5 years of procurement or strategic sourcing experience, with at least 3 years in IT categories (hardware, software, services, telecom)
  • Regional or global experience in a complex, matrized organization is highly desired
  • Demonstrated success in contract negotiation, stakeholder engagement, and cross-functional project delivery
  • English Fluent (mandatory) and Spanish (highly desired), other languages (optional)

 

Preferred:  

  • CIPS, CPSM, or equivalent is a plus
  • ITIL, cloud (AWS, Azure), or vendor-specific credentials a bonus
  • Proficient in procurement eSourcing Tools like SAP Ariba, Jagger, GEP, Workday Sourcing, Coupa, Oracle, etc.
  • Ability to build trust and influence across regional and global teams
