Requirements

  • Min 7 years of relevant work experience
  • Accounting knowledge – Finance university degree & practice => min 3 years of experience of work in Accounting department / RTR / statutory auditor or relevant accounting certificate
  • US GAAP knowledge
  • SOX and internal controls knowledge
  • Experience in working in Big 4 companies highly preferred
  • Knowledge of MS office tools, advanced knowledge of Excel
  • Flexibility and adaptability
  • English, French as an advantage
  • Experience with S4Hana and / or JDE Oracle is preferred
  • Open to travel internationally

Responsibilities

  • Supervise & drive country controllers’ team in assigned region
  • Collaborate & participate in coordinating finance tasks with Carrier shared services (RTR, OTC, PTP)
  • Collaborate with Finance Business Partners team
  • Drive standardization and centralization of tasks across assigned region and entire ETT
  • Participate in month end closing activities (support SSC and country controllers in journal entry preparations, B/S, sales, cost and margin analysis, ensure accurate US GAAP reporting)
  • Supervise & control of yearly physical inventory count process
  • Balance Sheet analysis and management
  • Supervise and drive completion of statutory financial statement preparation (coordinate the work of SSC, external statutory accountants and country controller)
  • Supervise and drive completion of Transfer Price documentation preparation (country controller, SSC, external advisors)
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements in finance related matters
  • Collaboration with external and internal audit teams
  • Overview Carrier compliance and controls (SOX, testing, quarterly certification letters, compliance with corporate policies)
  • Collaborate in upcoming projects which impact the finance department (e.g. new ERP implementation, finance transformation, new statutory requirements, integration of newly acquired companies)
  • Prepare ad-hoc reports based on management needs
