Work Set-up: Work from Home
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 am – 4:00 pm PH Time
Salary: Starts at Php 45,000.00

JOB DESCRIPTION FOR MORTGAGE BROKER ASSISTANT

Your Responsibilities as a Mortgage Broker Assistant would be:

• Client Communication & Coordination:
o Act as a point of contact for clients, answering basic inquiries and providing updates on application status.
o Monitor emails and schedule and confirm appointments for clients and mortgage brokers.
o Assist clients with gathering necessary documentation for loan applications.
• Document Preparation & Organization:
o Assist in preparing and organizing mortgage application packages and related documents.
o Ensure all client documentation is complete and accurate, including income verification, credit reports, and property information.
o Maintain organized filing systems (digital) for easy retrieval of documents.
• Administrative Support:
o Process and input client information into relevant mortgage processing systems.
o Prepare forms, loan applications, and other documentation as required by mortgage brokers.
o Coordinate with lenders, underwriters, and other stakeholders to facilitate timely processing of applications.
• Loan Processing Support:
o Help monitor and track the progress of loan applications through underwriting and approval stages.
o Assist with the completion of any additional documentation or information requests.
o Order pricing requests and valuations. Relates to application preparation and post settlement customer support.
o Follow up with clients and lenders to ensure timely submission of necessary paperwork.
• Database and Record Maintenance:
o Ensure accurate and up-to-date client records are maintained within CRM systems.
o Assist with the preparation of reports and documentation for compliance and audit purposes.
• Other Duties as Assigned:
o Provide general administrative support to the mortgage team, including filing, faxing, scanning, and email correspondence.
o Assist with marketing and client outreach as directed by the mortgage broker.

Qualifications as a Mortgage Broker Assistant:

• Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred.
• Previous experience as a Mortgage Broker Assistant in the New Zealand mortgage industry.
• Experience in banking or an administrative support role is an advantage.
• Familiarity with NZ mortgage documents and loan processing procedures is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Experience with mortgage software or CRM systems is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• High level of professionalism and customer service focus.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to compliance standards.
