Purpose of Role: Customer satisfaction comes from strong relationships and delivering superior field service support to customers. The Supervisor, Service bridges the responsibility between the OE Sales function and our Aftermarket support on the field. Understanding where the critical pain point of a customer is and going the innovative process of identifying and fixing the problem.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for Service Centre budgets and working capital 
  • Ensure invoices targets are achieved   
  • Ensure WMA policies and procedures are adhered to in the Service Centre  
  • Control of documentation and record keeping 
  • Improve the Service Centre to meet Weir group standards 
  • To actively seek and bring in new business to the Service Centre with WMA guidelines   
  • Maintain quality and standards within the Service Centre  
  • Offer new products and value adding to contract 
  • Provide technical support to both internal and external clients  
  • To ensure all work is of a high quality and standard 
  • Assist in sustaining lean management through auditing  
  • Develop, maintain and improve all processes 
  • Optimise and set up programs to improve equipment effectiveness 
  • Manage the Service Centre staff 
  • Spares forecast  
  • Continuous improvements in Lean and Kaizans  
  • Ensure adherence to all HSE and housekeeping requirements at the branch  
  • Adhere to Duty of Care Policy.
