VP/SVP, Value-Based Care Product & Commercialization

Location: Remote

About the Role

This role is crucial for driving the growth and success of value-based care initiatives by ensuring that high-quality, innovative products are developed and effectively brought to market.

 

As Senior Vice President, you will be a key strategic partner to the EVP and General Manager VBC, helping to shape the future of our rapidly scaling value-based care business. You will drive the development of our value-based care product platform, build and manage high-performing product teams, lead the assessment and management of vendor partnerships, and play a central role in commercialization and go-to-market strategy to ensure successful market adoption. You’ll help us innovate, scale, and deliver solutions that transform care delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Define and execute the vision and roadmap for our value-based care platform, balancing buy vs. partner vs. build decisions, aligning with the overall organizational goals.

Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities and assess the competitive landscape for value-based care solutions. 

Develop and manage the product roadmap, prioritizing features and enhancements based on market needs and business objectives. 

Develop financial models and forecasts to support the development and commercialization of value-based care products.Build a high-performing cross-functional product team, fostering a culture of innovation and accountability.

Develop internal processes and capabilities to enable rapid product development and deployment.

Lead evaluation, selection, and management of technology and service vendors supporting our value-based care platform.

Oversee the VBC full product lifecycle, ensuring alignment with market needs and regulatory requirements.

Partner closely with the go-to-market team to develop and execute launch plans, including product positioning, pricing, and channel strategies.

Support sales, marketing, and customer success teams with product expertise and market insights.

Build relationships with key customers, payers, and industry partners to accelerate adoption and growth.

Serve as a thought leader in value-based care, representing the company at industry events and with external stakeholders.

Qualifications

15+ years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare, including product launch, commercialization, and performance in value-based care. 

Demonstrated ability to enable care delivery organizations to succeed under graduated value-based payment models, including Medicare Advantage, ACO REACH, commercial capitation, and other risk arrangements—spanning risk adjustment, quality measures, and cost of care.

Proven track record in product management, including feature development, prioritization, and release planning.

Experience in vendor evaluation, contract negotiation, and client management.

Strong understanding of healthcare regulatory environments, payer-provider relationships, and care delivery organizations.

Track record of launching and scaling healthcare technology or service products.

Excellent communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills.

MBA or advanced degree preferred.

Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
