Job description

Position purpose

  • The Consultant will take on a variety of roles that focus primarily within the following core areas: Client/project leadership, business development of consulting business practices.
  • He/she will engage with the whole healthcare ecosystem (mainly Pharmaceuticals, consumer healthcare and medical devices local affiliates) to develop and implement IQVIA solutions in areas such as market research, market assessments, strategic market reviews, sales & marketing strategy, dashboarding and forecasting.

Roles and responsibilities

  • Identify and address client needs:
    • Structure ambiguous problems / define problem statement and take actions to solve them
    • Lead and supervise preparation of data (qualitative or quantitative) / indicators / interview guides and analysis grids
    • Drive analyses and synthesis of results
    • Craft recommendations
    • Present results to clients
    • Establish trust-based relationships with clients to better serve their organizations

  • Lead business development activities:
    • Build IQVIA presence and reputation as a trusted adviser in Life Science
    • Develop clients mapping and corresponding strategy
    • Identify and engage key decision-makers, influencers, stakeholders and networks (from operational stakeholders to Regional GMs and global decision makers) in each account
    • Leverage internal IQVIA expertise across all practices and all regions (e.g., Global/Headquarter key account managers, etc)
    • Coordinate selection and execution of projects by third party vendors when required in compliance with IQVIA policies and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree min required in business, sciences, statistics or computer sciences
  • 5+ years of related experience in consulting and/or market research industry
  • Excellent presentation, communication and client influencing skills
  • Experience in business analytics, sales force excellence in pharmaceuticals is a plus.
  • Possesses solid project management, client influencing and relationship building skills
  • Works willingly and effectively with others in and across the organization to accomplish team goals
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, juggle priorities and deliver on tight deadlines
  • Knowledge of consulting methodologies, tools and techniques
  • Knowledge of key issues and current developments in the health industry
