As a Lean Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting continuous improvement initiatives across production and administrative processes in the Lipa site. Reporting to Lean Manager you will support Lean transformation efforts by utilizing Lean Six Sigma tools, Value Stream Mapping, and structured Kaizen initiatives to enhance product quality, workplace safety, on-time delivery, and cost reduction. This role provides an excellent opportunity to develop expertise in Lean methodologies while contributing to operational excellence.

 

About the job:

  • Use Value Stream Mapping to identify and improve key operational areas.
  • Support the execution of projects within the assigned Value Stream by applying Lean Six Sigma methodologies to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Implement structured Kaizen initiatives to enhance product quality, workplace safety, and cost reduction.
  • Monitor and review project progress, ensuring alignment with company objectives and quality standards.
  • Guide Lean small group activities and projects to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Participate in and support a Lean specialty sub-committee, developing Subject Matter Expertise in a focused area.
  • Engage in personal development through Lean Foundation training, self-improvement research, benchmarking, and networking activities.

 

About You:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
  • Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma tools and methodologies is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Effective communication skills and willingness to mentor and support Lean initiatives.
  • Eagerness to learn, develop expertise, and contribute to a culture of operational excellence.
