Position: Assistant Project Manager-Boston

Position Overview:

We are seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join our team in Boston, MA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management and a passion for delivering successful projects. As an Assistant Project Manager, you will work closely with our project management team to ensure the successful completion of new construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the project management team in all aspects of project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution
  • Monitor project progress and ensure compliance with project plans and specifications
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other project stakeholders
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure quality and safety standards are met
  • Communicate project updates and issues to the project management team and clients
  • Assist in resolving any project-related conflicts or issues that may arise
  • Participate in project meetings and provide input and recommendations for project improvement
  • Help to manage project budget and track project expenses
  • Ensure project timelines are met and make adjustments as necessary to keep projects on track
  • Assist with project closeout, including final inspections and documentation.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field
  • 2-3 years of experience in construction project management
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, methods, and materials
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office suite
  • Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
