Job Title: Sourcing Specialist - Skilled Trades
Location:
Remote (Must overlap with CST/EST business hours)

Salary Range:
up to 2500 USD

Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (CST / EST)

Position Overview:

You'll be responsible for filling the top of the funnel with experienced HVAC and electrical technicians -- especially those who are currently employed and not actively job hunting. Your job isn't to screen or interview. Your focus is sourcing: identifying, targeting, and engaging hard-to-find candidates in the skilled trades.

Success in this role looks like key technician roles (10-15 years' experience) being filled in under 30 days, and a noticeable drop in internal complaints about lack of talent -- think days since management complained trending upward.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Source passive and active candidates for HVAC and electrical technician roles.
  • Build and manage talent pipelines for hard-to-fill positions.
  • Strategically identify sourcing channels -- job boards, LinkedIn, associations, parking lots, church events, etc.
  • Reach out across multiple mediums (calls, texts, email, social) with persistence and creativity.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to clarify needs and adapt sourcing strategy.


Must-Have Attributes:

  • High energy and tenacity.
  • Competitive and hungry -- thrives on finding and winning talent.
  • Creative, persistent, and resourceful.
  • Enjoys working with people; comfortable reaching out and striking up conversations.
  • Fluent in English and culturally aligned with U.S. technicians.


Must-Have Skills:

  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS); any is fine -- ours is Paycom.
  • Comfortable working with structured processes while being creative in outreach.


Nice-to-Have Experience:

  • Sourcing for skilled trades or construction roles.
  • Experience recruiting in blue-collar industries.
  • Knowledge of U.S. labor market dynamics in HVAC, electrical, and related trades.
