Job description

5+ years of overall hands-on experience building DevOps culture.
5+ years of experience with automation using one or more scripting languages such as Python, Go, Perl etc.
Hands-on working experience with Kubernetes is a must.
Experience in developing and maintaining CI/CD process and on-prem applications using tools like Jira, Git, Gerrit, Jenkins, Maven, Gradle, etc.
Expertise in Linux System Admin, Bash Scripting and networking.
Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, Puppet or SaltStack.
Experience configuring and managing Relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Cassandra and MongoDB).
Fluency with agile methodologies, Continuous Integration and Delivery (CI/CD).
Passion for automation, continuous improvement, and DevOps culture.
Excellent Communication, interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving and time-management skills.

Key Responsibilities

Create and support the continuous integration and release process for a fast-growing micro-service based cloud environment team from scratch.

Architect and implement Kubernetes based application deployment, scaling, and management.
Architect and implement infrastructure for building, testing, deploying, tuning and troubleshooting production, and lower environment like testing, staging and development system.
Design, build and maintain the CI/CD infrastructure and tools.
Design and Develop the test automation to validate the builds in the CI/CD pipeline.
Ensure landscape availability, performance and stability (dev, pipeline, demo and live systems).
Support demo creation for new product releases.
Investigate and evaluate new tools and DevOps technologies.
Integrating code quality tools (Crusible, SONAR) with development process.
Work closely with development teams to ensure that solutions are designed with customer user experience, scale/performance and operability in mind.
