At Amsive, our people are our priority. We have been a leader in print production for over 40 years. We specialize in high-quality, end-to-end print and mail production, handling everything in-house. Our manufacturing facilities are temperature controlled, bright, and clean.
Digital Press Operator – Overnight Shift Location: 605 Territorial Dr, Bolingbrook, IL 60440 Schedule: Sunday–Thursday | 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM + Overtime & weekends as needed
Objective: Seeking an experienced Digital Press Operator to join our overnight production team. Needs to have hands-on experience operating high-speed digital print equipment in a manufacturing environment, with a strong focus on quality, precision, and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
Set up and run HP Indigo or Canon Oce Vario digital presses for a variety of print jobs.
Review job tickets and configure print settings according to specifications.
Monitor the printing process to ensure quality, consistency, and accuracy.
Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and troubleshooting of equipment.
Prepare and handle printing materials, including loading paper and managing inventory.
Maintain print quality control and meet production efficiency targets.
Follow USPS guidelines for mail preparation and sorting.
Accurately log production data and track output using job data systems.
Keep a clean, safe, and organized work area in accordance with safety protocols.
Collaborate with supervisors and team members to ensure daily production goals are met.
Qualifications
Professional experience operating digital printing equipment in a manufacturing or production setting.
Preferred printing experience with HP Indigo Series 3 or 4, or Canon Oce VarioStream (continuous-feed) systems.
Strong understanding of print production workflows and color accuracy.
Familiarity with USPS postal regulations and mail preparation standards.
Excellent attendance record and a proven history of job stability.
Ability to read and interpret job tickets accurately.
High attention to detail and strong time management in deadline-driven environments.
High School diploma or GED required (or equivalent work experience).
Supervisory Responsibilities: Not responsible for supervising other employees. Work Environment: Indoor, temperature controlled, production facility. Physical Demands:
Must be able to be able to stand on feet for at least 8 hours/day and able to lift up to 50 pounds
Personal Protection Equipment (PPE): Certain PPE may be required while performing specific job functions.
Able to use powered material handling equipment and stack pallets.
Security Clearance: Amsive is a Federal Contractor, and this position may require government security clearance for certain projects.
