Job description

Job Summary: Administrator provides support and works directly with assigned Account Manager(s).  This position requires excellent analytical abilities, attention to detail, accuracy and problem-solving ability. The position requires the ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality and the ability to work as part of a team, while independently managing accounts with minimal required supervision. Excellent communication skills and a full understanding of the importance of customer service is a must.               

Responsibilities

  • Request plan documents from the record-keeper
  • Confirms all required documents have been received and uploaded into the Ecosystem Document Vault
  • Review client census data
  • Review certain elements of testing prepared by RK
  • Manage Form 5500 filing process
  • Review and approve participant distributions and loan requests.
  • Upload client data into the Ecosystem
  • Monitor Fiduciary Support email boxes
  • Communicate with plan participants when appropriate
  • Monitor Ecosystem for workflow purposes
  • Assist the Account Manager with day to day compliance administration
    1. Includes such tasks as:  
      • Confirming participant eligibility
      • Monitoring the timeless of contributions
      • Mandatory distributions
      • Confirm forfeitures were used in accordance with plan provisions
      • Reviews participant vesting percentages
  • Maintain effective relationships with client and advisor contacts
  • Ensure deadlines are identified and met.

Requirements:

  • College degree or minimum 2 years of Retirement and/or Benefits experience (preferred)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft applications/software
  • Excellent math skills
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Provide a high level of service to clients
