Language Trainers is a successful language training company working with freelance teachers of 70 different languages in hundreds of towns and cities across the world. Students are either in-company or self-funded who need to learn a language at their office or their home for work, family or travel reasons. We have a client in Stuttgart who would like to take private Basque lessons, and you may be interested in the teaching position.

We have received a request for Basque language instruction and would like to inquire whether you might be available to take on a new student.
The learner has expressed a strong interest in focusing specifically on the dialect and materials of the Northern Basque Country (Iparralde), given their close personal connection to that region.

The course is planned to be conducted online, with two sessions per week – preferably in the early morning hours (7:00–8:30 AM Berlin Times) on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
The student is a complete beginner with a clear communicative goal in mind: to gain basic conversational skills in time for a visit later this year.

Ideal teacher should:

Be a native Basque speaker of the language OR hold a teaching degree
Have experience as a language teacher, translator or interpreter
Have a valid working visa
Live up to 20 miles from the client´s location.

Location of the classes and schedule could be flexible based on your and the client’s availability. The hourly rate is negotiable depending on qualifications and experience. This is a freelance part-time position and we are not able to sponsor your visa.
